Build your Retirement  Build a Church

Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA’s) are a great way to build your retirement.  Now you can help build churches while you are managing your retirement savings by investing in a WELS CEF Retirement Certificate.  What a fantastic way of helping others, while helping yourself!
We have an agreement with Reliance Trust Company (RTC), which acts as a third-party administrator and custodian for our Retirement Certificates held in an IRA account for the benefit of you -- our investor.  There are a number of ways you can participate:

  • Move all -- or part -- of your existing IRA retirement account to Reliance Trust Company and direct RTC to open a WELS CEF Retirement Certificate.   A minimum $5,000 is required for rollovers and transfers to our Retirement Certificate.
  • Open a new IRA account with Reliance Trust Company and direct RTC to purchase a WELS CEF Retirement Certificate with those funds.  A minimum $5,000 contribution is required to open a Retirement Certificate.
  • Once you have an IRA account opened with Reliance Trust Company -- and have directed RTC to purchase a WELS CEF Retirement Certificate in your name -- you may add to that Retirement Certificate.  A minimum of $100 may be contributed once a month – up to the maximum allowed under IRS rules for your situation.
